Yes. OHSAS 18001 has been formally withdrawn and is no longer accepted. We align the existing system with ISO 45001 and issue a new certificate.
No. ISO 45001 is a voluntary management system certificate; a labour inspection is statutory oversight. The two run in parallel and neither replaces the other.
In those sectors it is often a condition of access to site. An uncertified contractor does not get through prequalification.
